Biography : Ratih Junika Widjaja Putri, an inspiration woman

One of the inspiration woman in my life is my senior in my student organisation activity. Ratih Junika Widjaja Putri or I used to call her “Mbak Ratih”. She was born at Pekalongan, On June 04, 1994. She really likes Swimming and Drawing. I often hear she often went to Swimming pool such as : Owabong, Walik, etc. Even, she had gone to Karimun Jawa. The thing that she hates is joging. Until now, she likes cartoon movie. The animal that she likes very much is cat. In academic, She had already join some competitions such as : Mathematics Olympiad when she was in elementary school, Biology Olympiad when she was in junior high school , Debate competition and also Poetry Competition when she was in senior high school. From all of the competition she was joined, She won some of them. She created a poetry which include in 50 best poetry of poetry competition . She also was a runner up of debate competition. Now, She is a Biology student of Jenderal Soedirman University. She joined the student organisation activity, KSR PMI unit Unsoed. She was a head of division “Pengmas” (Pengabdian Masyarakat : A division which was serving to the community). Most of people know, Biology student is a very busy student with all of their activities (Practicum, Responsy, Assistancy, etc). However, She still join student organisation activity and even she was a course teacher for elementary school student and junior high school student. One of things which be admired from her is , She can manage her time for all her activities in campus, organisation, and course. “Mbak Ratih”, in the future she wants to be a laboratory assistance with enough earnings and to be an independently person . Her motto in life is “ Do not have a bone to pick”. Although she is an introvert person, she always enjoying her life. She said “Life is like a spinning wheel. Whatever it is, just enjoying it”.

Calengsai at the night of festival culture

A standing ovation from the whole society of Humanity Faculty became a beautiful cover of the show of Calengsai (Calung Lengger and Barongsai) at the evening peak of Cultural Festival, 17th October 2015. Calengsai for Banyumas society is a very rare culture. "Even in Banyumas, there is only one art group which displays Calengsai " Said Oktiva, a graduate student of English Diploma Program who is the coordinator of this calengsai performance. The show combines three unit student activity located in the Humanity faculty (Kentongan, Barongsai and traditional dance). The show which combined the Tionghoa culture and Banyumas culture also was witnessed by a delegation from Dinpora Banyumas.

Although the preparation of forming a Calengsai performances done in just one night, but the Calengsai show has stolen the view of many people who witnessed at the evening peak  of Cultural Festival which is a series of  the first Dies Natalise event of  Humanity Faculty Jenderal Soedirman University.

Oktiva, as the coordinator of this show hopes that the show is not only become the only cultural performances displayed by the students of  Humanity Faculty. As alumni, Oktiva also hopes the establishment of a close relationship between the student activity unit in the Humanity Faculty will be the creation of a cultural performances which will enliven in  the next cultural performances.

News Article : KSR PMI Jenderal Soedirman University produce trained volunteer for disaster mitigation

    KSR PMI Jenderal Soedirman University, under the auspices of Indonesian Red Cross held the training of disaster mitigation. This activity held on 15th May 2016 until 22nd May 2016. All member of this organisation are the participator. The material presented such as disaster management, assesment, triage, water sanitation, etcetera. Student Activity Centre Jenderal Soedirman University was the choosen place of the training. The presentation of material were explained by trained people from Banyumas Indonesian Red Cross also Orari.This activity also sponsored by BNPB.

   All of the materials in this training will be simulated by the participant in the disaster mitigation simulation activity. The simulation will be held on 27th May 2016 until 28th May 2016. Fita Purwaningsih, the head commitee of this activity said “This is the biannual event with the theme of Increasing the spirit of volunteer in disaster mitigation and emergency response”. She also said the purpose of this activity is to produce the trained volunteer who all ready in facing disaster.
